PAPS 2022 Meeting Registration Information

The PAPS 2022 meeting has both in-person and virtual options. Please be aware the virtual option is reserved only for colleagues residing in countries recognized by PAPS with travel restrictions (see our travel exemption page for details).

Amenities for those traveling to Quito include

Please note: ALL presenters MUST register to present  (regardless of type of presentation).

2022 PAPS MEETING REGISTRATION FEES

• 1 - Must be a member in good standing and dues PAID at time of registration
• 2 - Must be a trainee (example: resident, fellow, or medical student)
• 3 - Must reside and practice in Central or South America
• 4 - Companions are guests of the attendee. Price includes welcoming reception, daily breakfast, conference tour (with lunch), and conference dinner. This does not include coffee breaks or lunches other than the conference tour on Tuesday.
• 5 - PAPS recognizes some pandemic related safety requirements posed by certain countries may hinder an individual's opportunity to attend the 2022 PAPS meeting in Quito. There are also a few geopolitical issues happening in our world. PAPS will continuously monitor the situation and will create an exemption list of nations where remote (virtual) access will be granted. Please note: the option to attend via remote access will be granted only to individuals who reside in those countries where the national policy of that country makes attending in-person challenging or prohibitive. The list is based solely on the National policy of a given country and not on any individual's personal preference or hospital policy.
• 6 - South American Trainee - Limited meeting experience: This option is EXCLUSIVE for trainees who reside and train in South America. Proof of trainee status and location of training program is required. This options gives the attendee access to all meeting academic functions and educational meeting experience but does not include the social functions such as welcoming reception, conference tour, or conference dinner.
