The 58th Annual PAPS meeting is April 13 to 17, 2025 in Melbourne.

Melbourne, the coastal capital of Victoria in Australia, is renowned for its vibrant arts scene, diverse culinary landscape, and rich cultural festivals. The city's blend of modern skyscrapers and historical architecture, along with its numerous parks and gardens, offers a dynamic and picturesque urban environment. The only question is — where to start? Perhaps at the 58th Annual Meeting of the Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons! Abstracts accepted for full oral presentation are invited to submit a manuscript for publication in the PAPS issue of the Journal of Pediatric Surgery. Come see why the PAPS is the best and friendliest surgical society in the world!

The PAPS 2025 meeting is IN-PERSON only. No virtual or hybrid option is available. See you in Melbourne!

Greetings from your Local Organizing Chair

Dear friends,

PAPS 2025 will run from 13th to 17th April, and will see Melbourne host the meeting for the first time since 1970. While the fashions may have changed a little in the last 5 decades, our commitment to no neckties has not!

As always, PAPS will be an ideal opportunity for all of those interested in paediatric surgery from across the world to join together for a collegiate and entertaining meeting. There are no meetings quite like PAPS to foster relationships across specialties, as well as continents. Highlights of PAPS 2025 will include exposure to Australian flora and fauna, as well as the opportunity to visit the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (home to Taylor Swift’s largest concerts ever).

We look forward to hosting you in Melbourne, one of the world’s most liveable cities.

About Us

Despite PAPS being one of the largest pediatric surgery associations in the world, we share a strong sense of family with fellow members and guests.  We have a lot of fun at meetings, and are much more relaxed than any other surgical society. We don't even allow neckties at any PAPS meeting....wear one and it will be quickly cut off!

Join PAPS to share ideas and meet great new friends!
